Most of the subsequent paintings were done to decorate a cigar emporium in an upscale complex of Restaurants and Shops, named The Governor, in the new City Hall of Moscow. Lilly Zanardi from Miami was the designer, and solicited me in 1996 to decorate the cigar shop. What was first a drag for me (I didn't smoke cigars and I am notoriously behind the times when it comes to trends) became an interesting exercise of creativity. I have the same problem now with Golf!, amazingly, I am most comfortable with painting matches!
