Story:
When
I came back from a trip abroad, my good old American
bank's name changed
from Capital
Bank
(a lot like cigars) to Union Planters Bank (Leeks,
sugar cane. FLorida being the first state
for sugar cane, citrus and ...bank's tellers
).
December 2, 1998: This painting
"Union Planters Bank"
donated by the artist to the Art Auction Event
at the Coral Gables Estate of Lea and Roy Black to benefit
the "Icare Bay Point Schools".
Chairpersons: Lea Black, Ingrid Constanzo, Ruth Robles.
Marie Louise Cole, Ph.D. President ; Azim Ramelize,
Esq., Art Auction Founder. The rumor is
that the chairman of "Capital Bank"
invested in this artwork.
