EVERGLADES,
or MID-LIFE
EVERGLADES 1 The preferred one in this "serie" about Everglades. a true sensation of " now,I can Fly".
The road seems a little too straight, and a little too easy... But roads are this way
in Everglades. And I wish I could fly there, high, far, away from here.
Is this painting sold? I don't see it in your Catalogue... Marie
( Note, it is now in the Wayne Mello Collection, Boston)

- Posted by Marcos Mota on May 10, 2001: I bought this from your agent in NYC for my friend's college
graduation.
I wish I'd just gotten the one titled "Everglades".
The poem is a sad. My friend is from SD, where the roads
are long and desolate. She was graduating U. Boulder as an ROTC
officer. So the flight theme, and staring down the long road was
too perfect! Alas that darn poem. MEM
- additional comments by M. : My friend is off to Texas in a matter
of months to train in the Air Force. She and I are of the same mind in that
we are very positive people. So mine was not a request but a comment.
How a painting so beautiful and meaningful could be made a better. But
that's a moot request- it's already done. As a thought on your paintings, I think that they emote the same brilliance
as the Cirque de Soleil- the Canadian Circus-absolutely joyous and happy. Thanks
for the smiles. MEM

13, 2000: I love the Mid Life Crisis print. I was just in Miami Beach with
my family, and my mom fell in love with that print also. I was thinking
about ordering one for her...could you please give me pricing information?
Thank you very much!

on January 30, 2000: Definitely make mini-prints; the idea is so enrapturing -
a road that then becomes liberated in the freedom of flight into
the air. So many people could see this as inspiring in their own
road of life.
- Posted by Brian Baker on January 14, 00: I would be happy to see a miniprint of this wonderful image. Were it not for the delightful surprise of the egrets I would have passed by this painting as just another landscape.

on November 26, 1999: I was at your gallery at Espanola Way and I saw a small framed
print of Everglades. Will you be making a poster size of this one?
- Posted by Dorothy Hess on November 09, 1999: I saw this painting at your gallery last January, and was very sad when I learned it wasn't for sale. I'd love to buy a poster/print if you are ever kind enough to make one!
- Posted by Lisa Thompson on August 26, 1999: Yes!!! Definitely should make mini-prints of Everglades 2. It's amazing! I'm sure I could spend hours in awe of the original! Lucky guy - Mr. Mello.

Tommaney on April 28, 1999: "Mid-Life Crisis"
The unforgiving past prevents escape. The unknowable future recedes
like a mirage, luring us with dreams of redemption. We learn, too
late, that life is but a blade of grass, swaying to he music of
. . . The Neverglades

I was in Miami Beach in early March and saw a painting similar to Everglades but with more centerline strips flying away and the ocean in the background. Will you please advise me when this is available. Thanks.
