aujourd'hui, s'y retrouver. Marie,
".

I was recently in Miami to
attend a conference and fell in love with your "heart art" . . . I collect
heart-shaped things and it is getting more and more difficult to find different,
fun, and unusual hearts. I do not go for the country, crafty heart junk and
your hearts were such a delight to find!! I bought a poster and asked about
your work in hopes of purchasing more in the future. Your hearts are truly
unique!

:

Dear artist it's a beautiful painting that I think express your feelings.
Is wonderful to dream!
- Posted by Kenny on March 25, 01 Dear Pierre,
I am 18 and am a freshman in college. I took a trip to Florida this spring
break with my friend. We met a couple girls in Miami and I just so happened
to wander into Mark Rutkowski's shop while at an art festival. The paper bag
bodies intrigued me. Thank you for painting your heart. I was so fortunate to
look at these paintings with a wonderful girl I had just met who was stealing
my heart that night. The simplicity and beauty make your heart paintings so
genuine, and you helped capture what I was feeling while watching this girl
admire your work, and while I admired it myself. a thousand thanks, Kenny

- Posted by Delsys Maruri on November 06, 2000 SWITCH This painting to me, depicts the fragility of the heart and how easily it
can be mended, broken or manipulated. It's suggestive of the great power that
love has over each us and how, when we truly love, we expose our fragility.
I absolutely adore your work and was instantly drawn to it.
Your work is rich, symbolic, and extremely expressive. I'm a great fan! Expect
more loving comments.

on September 26,2000: Please don't ever stop painting hearts. The emotion that is displayed from
these paintings can touch everyone in numerous ways. Only hearts can do that....
Keep up the incredible work. Your work is a delight.

Breakthrough : I purchased a copy of this beautiful painting while in South Beach in July.
It truley captures my feelings on love and relationships perfectly. I will be
in South Beach again in 1 week and look forward to purchasing another piece
of art.
- Posted by Jules on February 06, 2000: we are looking for a print in the hearts range, the ocean with a love
heart on the horizon, someone saw it in the gallery in Miami. We haven't seen
it on your web page, can you help please?
- Posted by Kendra Moshe on January 29, 2000: This web site is great but there is nothing like the original
beautiful paintings and awesome gallery in South Beach. Coming back to Florida
after being gone 1 and a half years I just wanted to go from Boca Raton to South
Beach to see Marcel's new paintings. They were even more beautiful than I imagined
them. The colors were so soft and bright at the same time. There was so much
sensitivity, I love his art. To my delight the great artist was there. I respect
and honor him so much for dedicating his life to his art. So much art about
the matters of the heart. Marcel's art speaks to my heart and inspires me deeply.
Thank you for sharing your ideas images and feelings from the heart.
- Posted by Kimia on January 20, 2000: Pierre Marcel,...I hope this will be a nice surprise. I'm at work as I
am writing this note to you. Guess what cards are posted all around me. Hearts.
Your Hearts. I miss your Art works,...but mostly,Pierre, I miss the tender
expressions that you so finely bring to life with the stroke of a brush, and
colors that penetrate straight to our hearts, our emotions, our memories. How
are you? How are your children? Thinking of you, and looking forward to a taxi
ride,...., Your old friend,-kimia
- Posted by Brian Baker on January 14, 2000: So how do I get a greeting card of this piece?

and humor running almost parallel to yours.

I wish I could add some witty comments about these
paintings, but I just can't. There aren't words to describe my feelings
when I look at these works time and time again. My heart literally
starts to beat faster, my stomach does a quick turn and my whole
body starts to ache... the Hearts do something to me... they quite
perfectly capture that particular moment that cannot be described
but can only be remembered but never relived. I don't know how you
do it.
It must be in part that hearts have become synonymous
with love. And what is love, after all? Does anyone really know?
At some point (or often) one believes she has finally understood
what love really is, but in reality, we are only being fooled. The
meaning of love changes every time we fall!!!
