The first paint strokes, June 24, 2006 ! (background is basecoat beige and white done a week before)
First coat completed : I start with an even sky background. To achieve a perfect luminous but profond sky, it will require at least 3 coats.
still doing sketches to refine concept. Here I am working on the idea of the liquid road.

straighting up the horizon line, working on the texture of the road and configuration of the ripples..
We are loozing temporarly definition on the white lanes, not worry !

Everglades scene becomes blue ocean toward the horizon.

I intend to grow some bushes on the left side, to make
better a kind of effect of "going out of the woods" Some
other minute changes, and it will be completed July 21.
