Automnal light

Story: It is the same trees I am painting over and over again, a row of poplars towering above the Epte river, at 14 miles upstream the Monet garden in Giverny
The painting, started in June, stayed for a long time in my studio, un-attended, and it is only for the show organized in the Aveny Castle this November that I carved out a stream of automnal light through the folliage. (See article about this Art Show)
