Notes:
I came in France this May 99 to work on a commissioned painting with flowering apple trees. (see the result on the left). Then, flowers all gone, I worked on another big apple, but the result was rather lame. (see on the right). On the May 30 evening, I decided to carve in a neat bite, like if in this well-mannered paradise Eve could only have cut the apple with a nice silver knife...
