Story:

This is one of the paintings that I was most excited to do during the year.  It reveals the jubilation I felt to conquer the color green.  Having spent most of the last ten years in Miami where my horizon was saturated with tropical blue, I frolicked like a crazy wet dog upon returning to Normandie, rolling myself in the mud and the wild green grass. This  painting certainly speaks about the nurturing of family, as well as the coming of age of a desirable head of lettuce.
