Notes :

In March, traditionally,  I paint orchards. Being unsure of the exact moment when they will burst in white flowery panaches, I visit them often. Back home I sometimes take liberty with the calendar, and , like for this one, I imagine them already ripe for a delicious   early morning promenade. Here, I was hurrying to complete  a painting that I intended to be showcased  in the annual Pontoise Art show. This year, the event is placed under the centennial anniversary of the  Camille Pissarro death. Two years ago, I had the opportunity to work for a few months in his Eragny-sur-Epte Studio. There I worked around the apple trees growing wild in his abandoned garden. (see the Eragny-sur-Epte Page)
