Story:
I started this painting immediately after the terrible events of
September 11, 2001.
I intended
to express my solidarity with New York and my hope that the catastrophe
can lead to the resolution of seemingly intractable global problems.
As dramatically as Adam and Eve lost their innocence in The Garden,
maybe we of the fortunate Northwest will ultimately gain access
to a more profound intelligence and wisdom after this bitter bite.
