But the ravishing mediocrity of the manucured cheap thuya hedges in the village of Guerny-Gisancourt where  I live now, very little green to be seen in Normandie in December.
I thought that Tuya were polular for this feeling of mediteranean dream-life coming true for my neo-suburban-rural neighbourgh.. Knowing them better know, I understand that the reason of this  is just because thuya plants are very cheap and they grow fast, so to quickly protect sacred French privacy all year round,  hide the garbage cans and let the dogs snif and bark at will at all strangers.

I indulge then in some tree paintings in the comfort of my paint studio, reopen my green acrylic tubes I had left unatended this whole summer, busy I was to paint red poppies.
